These baked potato reheat instructions work for plain, halved potatoes or even stuffed potato skins!

STEP ONE: Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

STEP TWO: Make sure your potato halves are completely wrapped in foil — letting no air escape is key!

STEP THREE: Place baked potatoes in the air fryer basket with the cut side facing down. If you want that side crispy too, flip them halfway through.

STEP FOUR: Let the baked potato reheat for 5-8 minutes until it’s crispy and heated through.

Like a regular oven, it’s perfectly safe to use aluminum foil in the air fryer. The temperature of the air fryer is below the melting point of foil, so your potatoes will be moist and foil free!

Yes, of course! With toppings like cheese, this is the best approach because it helps it all melt together.

Pierce the potatoes with a fork to check if they’re fully reheated. If the fork goes in easily and the insides are hot, then they are ready.
